Day 1  Arrival in Puglia – transfer from Bari airport/train station – Monopoli 
Benvenuti in Puglia! Arrival in Bari airport. Meeting with your driver and transfer to the Hotel in Monopoli (or similar town located in Bari area, Puglia central part).
Monopoli is a typical Mediterranean fishing village located on the Adriatic Sea, and it was a thriving seaport in Byzantine and Norman times, although its strategic position made it the object of regular attacks by pirates. 
Meeting at the Hotel lobby with your local tour guide for the welcome in Puglia and short tour presentation. 
Guided walking tour of the old city. Free time for your relaxation and dinner.

Day 2  Alberobello UNESCO site – Locorotondo         
In the morning meeting with your private driver and local tour guide.
We'll discover Alberobello, the Trulli capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. Trulli, ancient white houses with distinctive round shapes and conical roofs adorned with pinnacles, have graced the landscape with their dry stone construction since the 13th century.
Experience your lunch in a charming Trullo restaurant, where you will taste delicious Apulian dishes paired with local wine.
In the afternoon, we will discover Locorotondo, a charming small village known for its circular historic center and whitewashed houses. Stroll through its lovely streets, we will admire the flower-filled balconies, and enjoy stunning views of the Itria Valley. A visit to this picturesque gem offers a true taste of Puglia's beauty and tranquility.

Day 3  Matera UNESCO site – Apulian wine experience 
Today, we’ll explore Matera, a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Basilicata region, near the Puglia border. 
On our guided walking tour, we'll uncover the wonders of the Sassi, extraordinary cave dwellings carved into the rocky hillsides. Inhabited from the Stone Age until the 1950s, these ancient homes are among Italy’s most iconic landmarks. Lunch in a cave restaurant based on traditional cuisine from Basilicata region. 
In the afternoon, we will visit a local winery. Delve into a captivating tour of the wine cellar, gaining insights into the winemaking process. Conclude the visit with a delightful tasting session, where you can savor a selection of different Apulian wines, among which is the famous Primitivo red wine.

Day 4  Ostuni – “farm to table lunch experience” in a typical Apulian Masseria – Polignano a Mare     
Today, we will travel along the Adriatic Coast. Visit of Ostuni, best known as “The White City” for its charming, white-washed historic center—a tradition cherished for centuries. Perched on a hill, Ostuni offers breathtaking views of ancient olive groves and the distant Adriatic coastline.
We will be heading to the countryside, where at a typical Apulian Masseria farmhouse, we will enjoy a farm-to-table lunch experience. Savor delicious traditional dishes from the "cucina della nonna" and enjoy the slow, relaxed lifestyle of rural living.
Then visit of Polignano a Mare. We will walk through the historical downtown, with its houses and terraces directly overlooking the sea, and we will stop in a local gelateria to taste the specialties of this town: the artisanal gelato and the Caffè Speciale. 
In Polignano, coffee isn’t just a drink—it’s an experience! The special coffee of Polignano captivates with its rich, robust espresso base, perfectly balanced with a hint of lemon zest, a splash of amaretto, and a delicious layer of whipped cream—all served in a small glass. Free time for your relaxation. Return to the hotel.

Day 5  Departure 
Breakfast and Hotel check-out. Say goodbye to the group as you leave Italy’s heel.
