Itinerary

Day 1   Arrival in Puglia – Welcome dinner in your Luxury Masseria
Arrival to Bari airport. You will be met by our Travel Director in the arrivals hall and you will be transferred from Airport to your Luxury Masseria accommodation with our private car.
We will arrange for you a special welcome dinner based on typical and traditional Apulian dishes and wine.

Day 2   Ostuni  –  Alberobello
In the morning we will visit Ostuni, best known as the White City. When you arrive from the road below it appears like a mirage of white light, because its houses in the historical city center are completely whitewashed.
Gourmet lunch in a characteristic restaurant.
In the afternoon we will go to Alberobello the capital of Trulli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. Trulli are ancient white houses with a round shape and conical roof with a pinnacle on the top, they are only built with dry stones since 13th century. Free time for your relaxation and dinner on your own.

Day 3   Lecce – Negroamaro wine tasting
In the morning visit of Lecce, the main city of the Salento area.
The superb beauty of its churches and elegant noble mansions attracts a great number of visitors, because this city is the capital of the Baroque art in Puglia. Lecce is also called "the Florence of the Southern Italy".
Lunch in a restaurant based on cucina salentina.
In the afternoon we will visit a winery that produces many Apulian wines and the famous Negroamaro wine. Return to your accommodation and rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 4   Matera
After your check out we will move to Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site best known for the Sassi of Matera, an ancient city with houses that have been excavated in the rock and that have been lived since the Paleolithic era. Rupestrian churches, houses, caves, and ancient streets create a unique and suggestive landscape, where Mel Gibson chose to shoot the film, The Passion of the Christ. On October 17th 2014 Matera was elected the European capital of culture 2019.
Lunch in a local restaurant based on cucina lucana (traditional cuisine from Basilicata region).
Free time for your relaxation. We will arrange for you special overnight in the Sassi of Matera.

Day 5   Turi and Mozzarella tasting  
In the morning we will prepare for your check-out. We will go to Turi where we will visit a Mozzarella factory that produces organic Mozzarelle, Burrate and many other Apulian cheeses.
Then we will have a relaxing walk through the historical center of Turi, a little town famous for cherries production.
Lunch in a local restaurant based on Apulian traditional dishes and wine.
Transfer to your accommodation for your last 2 nights. Today this place is chosen by celebrities (Italian and international) for their holidays or for their special weddings.

Day 6   Polignano a Mare “the pearl of the Adriatic coast”
In the morning we will visit Polignano a Mare, a characteristic Mediterranean fishing village that stands on a rocky cliff. We will walk through the historical center of the town and then we will visit one of the most important Gelateria in the town because Polignano is famous for its hand-made ice cream. Here you can enjoy an authentic ice cream with antique flavors. Lunch at your leisure. Rest of the day at your disposal.

Day 7  Bari  – Transfer to the airport
The Travel Director will provide you with the final hotel check-out and personally escort you to the airport.
Depending on the time of your departure flight, we will visit Bari, Puglia's capital city. Along Bari’s stylish boulevards and city streets, you can find shops with prestigious and high fashion designers. Bari is ideal for shopping! Lunch on your own.
